Free play is a continuous bar playground: land, fall and keep experimenting. R resets the gymnast; Replay lets you inspect your last move. Choose Challenges above the game for the green-mat objectives described below. C switches the camera view.
Four moves, one flowing run
Press Play Swing Lab to load the 3D park. Click the game to use your keyboard, or use the buttons underneath it.
| Key | Move | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| ← / A | Arch | Extend your body and add muscle effort while hanging. |
| Space | Tuck | Pull your knees in. A shorter body rotates faster. |
| → / D | Pike | Fold at the hips with straighter legs, for a shape between layout and tuck. |
| ↑ / W | Let go | Release the bar with the speed and direction of your swing. |
| No pose key | Layout | Open your body and hands. Rotation slows, but it does not stop. |
| S | Slow motion | Toggle 0.35× speed without changing the physics. |
| R | Restart | Begin a fresh attempt in the current park. |
| P / Escape | Pause | Freeze the current attempt. |
Shape changes speed, not direction
Arch and Pike are body poses, not left and right flight controls. Once you let go of a bar, your body follows its launch path. Tucking makes an existing rotation faster; opening up slows it. Neither move gives you a mid-air jump.
There is no automatic upright correction. Watch your rotation and open up before your feet meet the ground. Slow motion is useful while learning this timing.
Playing on a phone
In Free play, use the large Arch, Tuck and Let go buttons inside the scene. Reset starts a new swing. Challenges also has a Pike button below the game. Hold a pose, then lift your finger to open your body. Holding Let go prevents a regrab.
Landscape gives you a wider view. Fullscreen depends on your browser. The 3D renderer loads when you press Play and requires WebGL.
See what happened
Replay shows the latest 15 seconds at half speed. In Free play, open it at any time, then close it to continue from where you left off. In Challenges, Watch replay is available after the attempt. Pause or drag the timeline to inspect your movement. Restart clears the recording.
Replays stay in memory for the current attempt. They are not saved as videos or uploaded.
If the controls stop responding
Click or tap the game again, and choose Resume if it has paused. Switching tabs, opening the controls or moving focus away pauses play. Closing the controls resumes an attempt that was running before. The on-screen buttons also work with a mouse.
